Spring 2023 Issue
KRNL is the University of Kentucky's award-winning student-run lifestyle and fashion magazine. In this issue, published in March 2023, I was managing editor, assistant lifestyle editor, and a writer.
My story, Unexpectedly Cool: How One Lexington Artist Used Horse Shoes to Break Into the Sneaker Game, can be found on pages 16-21.
I won second place for Best Feature Story in the College Media Association's 2023 Pinnacle Awards for this story. Additionally, this issue, for which I was managing editor, won first place for Feature Magazine of the Year in the College Media Association's 2023 Pinnacle Awards.

Additionally, I won the first-place award for Best Magazine Writer at the 2024 Southeast Journalism Conference with my story from this issue. The spring issue also won first place for Best Magazine at the conference.
